How to get high rankings for your website? Submit to Google, Yahoo, MSN

Targeted traffic to your website is the biggest internet marketing commodity. It’s PRICELESS!

Thinking of using search engine in getting your website recognised by the worlds leading search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, ASK) is a wise decision. Every site Google, Yahoo, MSN or Ask finds on the site is given a rank that relates to the relevance of the website content.

1. Submit your website to Google

Go to http://www.google.com/addurl and submit your website url. Once you’ve done it, your website will be listed in Google search engine. However, if you want to improve your traffic even more, then move to the next step “Google Webmaster Tools”

You need to open a google account which is absolutely FREE and if you already have one then go to Google Webmaster Tools .

You simply type the domain name of your website into the input box and click on “Add site”. Google will then ask to verify your site by either uploading file or add a <meta> tag into your index page. You just need to click on “Verify” button and follow the instructions (a piece of cake)

The most important bit is to add your sitemap as sitemp.xml file. No need to worry if you don’t know how to create one.. just go to http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and they will help you generate a sitemap.xml file automatically. Save the file and upload it to your web root. Finally, you can add the sitemap link ( eg. http://www.saiboatvn.co.uk/sitemap.xml ) to Google.

2. Submit your website to Yahoo

3. Submit your website to MSN

4. Submit your website to ASK

That’s it, you now sit back & relax and enjoy more visitors viewing your site.
